JVC GR-D72US LEN'S CAP ERROR, CCD PROGRAM

Is The JVC Regional Service Center Closed till after the Holidays?
I have a JVC GR-D72u with the lens cap error. I have seen it posted on this board that the CCD replacement program for these camcorders may be ended on Dec 31. I am concerned about getting my item repaired before the program is ended. I shipped my camcorder by Priority Mail to the JVC service center in Lawrenceville Ga. I am getting notice that the post office has made attempts to deliver my item, but it is still sitting at the post office. I am wondering if their service center is closed till after the holidays, and if so, if this will effect my ability to get a repair covered under the CCD replacement program.

Follow-Up...
Just checked JVC's Website, and they are showing that my camcorder has been repaired, with all costs covered by the CCD replacement program. It has been shipped via UPS, I have a tracking number, and I should have it back within 2 days!

Okay, I have contacted JVC via telephone, and the representative told me that the CCD Replacement Program has been extended for another 6 months, until June 30, 2009. He said that the service center may have been closed the day after Christmas, but it is open now. He was polite and professional, and assured me that delivery of the unit would be received at the service center shortly.
