Its been 4 years since your post, but I was wondering if you ever found the spec's on the intercom system. I also have the same model and would like to troubleshoot it

  Did you ever find a schematic, for the 2561? I am also in need of one. I can't imagine the company is concerned about proprietary rights, after 40+ years.
