I have a 32" Sony Trinitron purchased 1998. Same old story. Great picture until now. Watching tv tonight and shut off by itself. Could not power back on. Red light blinks constantly until I shut the power off again. No picture or sound. Sony should recall this situation and make good on customer service. (conspiracy theory: they knew this would happen just about the time when expensive flat screen tv's would be the ONLY option to replace the malfunctioning ones)
