video capture jvc GR-D91U

Can't can't capture to pc Windows XP

only captures pic images, will not capture videos. Do I need a driver (if so where)? I'm conected with a USB

    Although you require a driver ("not" obtainable from JVC) to transfer video via USB you do "not" require it if you use a firewire cable between the camcorders DVi socket and a "firewire" input on the PC, this also being known as a IEEE1394 socket. You will however require some form of "video capture" software like Windows movie maker or similar, although your PC running on XP will likely have this installed. It should be said that video transferring takes up a lot of HD memory, so you should ensure you are running with at least about 20GB spare if your video is anything near 60 minutes long.
