I just fixed my buddy's with the same exact problem. I got a cheap Harbor Freight 1" glass magnifying glass (Two different magnifications in a fold-out holder, like $3) that I butchered for one of the lenses and cobbled it to a cardboard tube of the correct length. It even slides fore and aft a bit for fine focus. No eye cup and it ain't pretty, but very useable. Most any small magnifying glass will work, if held at the correct focal length. Good luck. Butcher
