As you do not have the original charger / power supply then I am afraid dismantling is the only answer, as everything mentioned suggests that one of the eight internal "soldered in" fuses has blown, this not exactly an unknown thing to happen under the "just one of those things" banner, however the fact that you are using a third party charger would be a highly suspect possible reason for the problem. Unless you are acquaint at working on small pieces of precision equipment I would not advise attempting to access these fuses, however if you are then they are located on the main PC board just above the very right hand side vertical power socket, this having the power cables from the rear casing going into it. The main fuse and most likely one to have blown, being a "special" miniature 2amp 32 volt type.
