Sony Dsc-F828 Does not start when turned on

Dear Sirs, When I turn on my F828 it will not switch even though it has a good battery or plugged into the mains .When I plug in the charger the little battery sign does not appear the camera is dead as though a fuse has gone.Please can you let me know what you think is the problem and how much would a fuse board cost.If you think this is the problem I could replace it my self Thanks for your help Brendan
