Just out of curiosity, do you see the "headphone" icon on the display whilst the speakers are inoperative?

I have the exact same problem. It started yesterday. Sound works when headphones are plugged in, but nothing from any speakers. Worked fine. Turned tv and receiver off when I left the house. Came home an hour later and it hasn't worked since. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem but no solution yet. Did you have any luck on your end?
