DCR-TRV310 solved!

DCR-TRV310 and a little shaking (no slapping) and the tape went right down and loaded like it was supposed to! I can't beleive it was something this simple. I LOVE the quality of my 9 year old digital 8 handycam. I still stack it up against any new DV camcorder in quality (other than those with 3ccd). After all these years from the original poster, and yet another person's camcorder is resurrected by a quick google search and this simple post. THANKS!
