Ejection issue with Sony Handycam IP model number DCR - IP55E

Has anyone suffered the same problem? The Handycam tape door opens but does not release the film? On screen, a verical pointing arrow flashes with the message C:32:11 flashing in sync in the top right hand corner . The camera has hardly been used - not a good advertisement!! Thanks
