Camera problem

Hi, i have a camera Sony DSCF828 but after using it for about four months, i think a drop of water entered in it because i took some shots in the rain.Since then,i could switch on but refuse to click.I t would show that its on but could not take a shot.I tried all i could but failed.its now about three years.what could be the problem.
