SONY (No Baloney) MHC-2750

Jeff - 1st Jan 2010 20:40

Need info on MHC-2750 ribbon cable connector source

Some time back I sent my MHC-2750 to the official SONY Laredo Service Center because the CD changer was jammed. (This seems to be a common complaint). They did not have the replacement part, but unjammed and lubricated it and replaced the belts and it seems to work. My problem is that they requested that I send the whole unit (including the RF Tuner) which I did and they didnt return the 15 conductor ribbon cable that connects the Tuner to the Controller. I can fabricate the cable if I can find the vendor of the connector. The cable is marked:

LL67399 FT1 CSA Type T1 60C 300V 26AWG YAZAKI E34349 AWM 2468 VW-1 -F-

I am in the electonics design business and have not been able to locate a A Yazaki ribbon cable connector catalog. The cable I am missing is a 15 conductor variant, the one I have for the CD changer has 17 conductors. If anyone has the cable and wants to sell it I would purchase it for a reasonable sum. I am very happy with the MHC-2750 and wish SONY still supported it.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks,

Jeff
