This camera is about 8 years old,it uses a floppy disc,there is NO USB port. It is not working and I don't know why.

I bought this Sony camera about 8 years ago and have had no problems till a few weeks ago. It will play floppy's but won't take any pictures. It is saying "Disk protect" on the screen and beeping and flashing too. I don't have the manual anymore and can't find anything on line. There is No USB port and no slot for a memory card. I tried to format the floppy on my computer and it made no difference. Does anyone know what the problem is. I paid $500 for it and I guess I got my money out of it. It's big, and new ones are a lot smaller. But,this one is paid for...Any help ?
