I fried my CMT-CPX22 Sony mini system!

I had my laptop hooked to the system through the mic in port. I accidently disconnected the laptop and the system's volume was so loud it fried the circuit. Are there any manufacturers for Sony circuit boards? When I contacted Sony they said replace the whole system! I think a replacement would be cheaper! I do not have a number for the board. Can someone help? Matt Armshaw
