Hi I have a JVC GR-D73AA Mini DV Recorder (about 5 years old now. It is now showing the 'Lens cap is on" error and screen is black. USed to work perfectly, including around Australia trip, come home put it in the cupboard for a few months and pulled it out and now it shows the 'Lens cap is on" error .
