I have the S290 model which has a 27" diagonal screen. This is actually a monitor and not a TV persae. It shows that it can tune channels 0-29 but I wonder if this is a Japanese format. I've not been able to get any TV channels using a cable-coax that I converted to BNC or S-Video. I've connected mine to a DVD-VCR combo through the Video-1 connection and it works just fine. You need a BNC-to-composite adapter to make it work. I use the VCR to tune in channels. I am using a universal remote with it and it seems to work fine although not all of the features are accessible with the universal remote.
