jvc gr dvl 300u problems

how do i solve the error e04 problem
i bought the can b4 i realised that it was ntsc although in a pal country will i lose quality during conversion

The camera will display e04 if the drum motor is not running or fails on startup or there is communication or speed sensor problem. Try to check sockets first.
