    Hello,

I am looking for a replacement mini disc drive for a Sony MDS-JE510.
I would like a price on that and if possible a schematic.
The disc hangs up on playback and often displays "blank disk" or" disk error"
I have tried cleaning the lense with lens cloth and have lubricated the track on which the lense travels but it didn`t work.
    Your response would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jim

You just try to hit firmly the camcorder from the bottom when it says RESET . May be you get the problem of counter that the counters are not working when on REC mode but the rec is marked on the LCD . This problem can be temporarily solved by hitting the camcorder firmly from the bottom. If not you have to seek to the technician Regards, Davy Garg

I am looking for a sony speaker cable. The model is the sa-va 15. The cord I need connects the two speakers. It is not a regular cord, its flat, and ribbed. It is about an inch wide. If you could help me i would be very grateful. I have been looking for the cord for over a year.

    Hello,
I am looking to find out how I can purchase a disc drive for my minidisc recorder. It is a Sony MDS JE700. I am not a repair person but I think I can replace the drive if I could find out how to buy one. The minidisc will not load properly and it gets stuck when I get it to go in. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Can you help me make up my mind with repair or dump. I have a 5 yr Sony Handycam CCD-AU230 HI8 6xVideo Camera. Been great up until now. Problem is when I record and then play back on TV or Computer, the images have horizontal short flag stripeing. I've managed to buy a head cleaning tape but that hasn't fixed the problem. Someone told me that the heads could be out of alignment but who knows ? Anyhelp would be great..
