Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR

I receive the C:13:01 error message as well. I've tried to format the disk every which way (two different computers, on the camera, full format) but no luck. I'm still getting the error message. Any ideas?

  I've had the same problem.. I've formatted disks on two PCs attempted on the FD87 too.. Still getting C:13:01 error...

  I just cleaned the inside with a KleenSwab stick and it came with small pieces of dust and debri, it has worked fine since. Maybe the electronic eye was dirty not sure, maybe I was lucky.
