Hello,
I purchased a used CDX-45, plugged everything into my CDX-M600, ejected the magazine and placed an original (not a copy) CD into the player which it accepted. When I select the changer to be used from my head unit I get a press reset
error. should I try a new control cable or do you think it's the head unit? Your thoughts.

  hello have you tried pressing the reset on the changer. the reset switch should be on the front panel behind magazine door.slide the door open and the switch should be on the bottom somewhere.push the reset ..goodluck

    I was not aware of the reset on the cd changer. Thanks, I'll try that Jim
