Home | Previous messageI have the same problem with a 1998 53" Sony. There are spider webs behind the screen. I'm afraid to even try to remove the screen (unless there is a basic way of doing it) and would appreciate any tips if you find out anything. Thanks.

Try removing the speaker grill. Often the screws and tabs for the screen frame are concealed under the grill. A piece of flannel with a MILD cleaner such as glass plus is all you need from there. DO NOT SPRAY CLEANER DIRECTLY ON SCREEN, MIRROR OR LENSES! Spray the cloth first... |
