Error - 09

hey, do you konw what an Error-09 is on the Sony BVW-75 Betacam SP videocassette recorder? Also, how would i go about resolving this issue.

    Its a problem of the threading motor in the BEtacam¨s The possible causes are: The back belt is dirty and "patina" The optical group is dirty Clean it

      Hello, I have the same problem. I have cleaned and rejuvinated the belt. What optical group do you refer to? I have a manual. Could you be more specific? Thanks, Reg

      I almost forgot. I get and Error 20 code when I insert a large format tape into the BVW-75. The cassette inserts, but then does not completely thread. Can you help? Thanks, Reg

  Threading ring is not to trun. You should to look around gear box. Gear box have 2type. It have small rubber and not have small rubber. You must to check small rubber and belt.
