Re: Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR

ATTENTION LANCE and FRANCES K. THERE IS HOPE! I also have a Mavica cd-400. Until this past Sunday, May 16, I have not had ANY problems with my camera for two years (since I have owned it). It was graduation and the parents of a small class of 20 asked me to take the pictures during Mass when the kids received their diplomas. I used up all of my disk and did not finalize...initialized a new disk and continued. Came home and finalized the disk and WHAM! a ton of bricks hit me when I went to finalize and DISK ERROR 13:01...yikes! I have been crying since Sunday...getting ready to tell everyone tonight about the pictures...I came to this site. SOLUTION: it's not 100% out of 94 pictures I lost 6, which were "special" awards--receiving ribbons, etc....but all my diplomas were recovered. Download a trial version of http://www.cdroller.com/htm/download.html and begin to follow the directions in the manual. With the trial version you cannot "recover" them but can tell if they are on the disk, then purchase the software it for $29.50 I cannot believe it worked! Just a FYI...I was a little frustrated at first when i refreshed and it continued to show nothing in my disk drive...when when i closed everything and went to reopen cdroller icon--they appeared! Good luck...i will continue to look at this post if you have any questions.

I have a Mavica CD-350 and I'm trying to restore pictures from a CD with this error message. I've tried cdroller, but to no avail, yet. I'm still hoping. I've run the UDF scan and 0 objects are found. I know there were pictures on the CD 2 days ago. Any suggestions?
