Re: JVC service or questions

I have a JVC GR-D30U digital video camera. When looking through the view finder or on the screen only the very brightest things can be seen, i.e. a window. You can playback a tape and it is clear as a bell. Any ideas?

  Reset your camera to factory defaults. Follow these steps
  1. Switch camera to manual control
  2. Open up the viewer
  3. click the focus wheel
  4. turn the focus wheel right 6 times(times = each time you hear a click)
  5. click the focus wheel
  6. turn the focus wheel right 5 times(times = each time you hear a click)
  7. click the focus wheel
  8. turn the focus wheel right 1 time(times = each time you hear a click)
  9. click the focus wheel
  
  Instruction to reset a JVC GR-D90U, this should also work witch other models of JVC cameras.
