Re: JVC service or questions

I have a Canon XL1s video camera and a JVC VCR prosumer combination VCR mini/DV and VHS/SVHS. I don't have the exact model number handy.
I cannot playback the tapes recorded on my camera on my VCR smoothly. There
are dropouts, artifacts and pixilation. Tapes recorded on all other cameras
work properly on the VCR. A JVC rep and other Canon camera owners have told
me there is an incompatibility between the alignment of the record heads on the Canon camera
and the playback heads on the vcr.
Can you confirm this for me as soon as possible?
I sent this same email to JVC a couple of weeks ago and was told I'd hear back in 5 days but still haven't received a reply.
