Did you manage to figure out what the problem was with the JVC GR-D30U? Ours is a little older than a year but we\'re having the same problem: now when you switch it on, it doesn\'t start up at all. We know it\'s not a battery issue because we\'ve tried the battery on other functioning GR-D30Us in the lab. I was hoping someone may have passed some useful information on to you.
