I seem to have the same problem. It first stated with the video comming out white. Then whenever I would turn it on, even with out a disk, it would show the "loading" message and would stay locked until it shut off by itself. Another time i watched a DVD movie okay until the end when it suddenly shut off. More recently i had in vcr mode and was stuck in "loading" as soon as the video signal was lost. I would like to know if anything can be done to prevent the lockup. By the way, it work fine for several months before this problem had made it useless.
