If you are referring to the Sony TV. The eventual cause of my TV going off was supposedly a bad solder connection somewhere on the Main PCB. I ended up donating it to a local church who then took it to a repair center. They said they repaired it by soldering a loose connection. So far it works but am skeptical it will last. I do believe that you should use the OEM flyback part since it is a critical component in a HV supply. Good Luck. Gary
