i have a jvc camera GDR D20E. Message on the screen "Lens Cap". No record, no video. What should i do???

I have the same issue my jvc says "lense cap" when one is not on. it records only sound and nothing else. Did any one ever figure this problem out..? Thanks

  I have the same high quality JVC product that indicates "Lens cap on" also, any solutions?
