I have a video camcorder jvc gr-sxm245 and I have coe #4 showing operating in the safe mode, also the tape is caught insde when it is ejected. thanks for your assistance.

  Mine did the same thing I fixed mine by buying a different brand no probs now. My JVC was not reliable and I never knew if it was going to work. It started producing error codes when the warranty was over ?? I was so frustrated with it I missed so many life moments and why because I spent so much on my JVC I thought I had to use it but don't do what I did guys get rid of it and get one you know will always work. I thought it was just my luck but after reading some of the posts I realized that it might be some of the mentioned models. Its so important to capture family and friends on tape most of those moments will never ever come around again. dave swanson
