Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR

I have the Sony DSC-P51. It just started giving me the "format error C:13:01" message. It only happened with one of my memory sticks. I managed to fix by reformatting the memory stick in the camera menu. To do this: first, turn the knob to the "set-up" setting. Then press the down arrow once to get to "Set-up 1". Then press the right arrow to get to "format". Then right again and the "OK" or "Cancel" fields will appear. Press scroll up in order to highlight "OK" and then click the dot in the center of the arrows. It will ask you if you want to proceed and erase all data on the memory stick. Say yes and it will reformat the memory stick. It worked for me - hope it works for you!
