Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR

I had the same error on my P72 with a Lexar MS
was unable to format the stick in my camera so I went out and bought a cheap card reader, but it was unable to read or format the card either (refused to acknowledge that the card was even inserted)

i was about to give up when I tried wiggling the card in the slot slightly - when i pushed the card upwards (forcing it onto the contacts in the reader) it instantly popped up on my screen and i was able to copy all the photos onto my PC.

it seems to me that the C:13:01 error is a generic error the camera gives when it can't read the card - there are various reasons why it can occur, corrupt formatting or dodgy contacts seem to be the most common.

anyway, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread.
