Re[2]: code c-31:23 sony ccd trv16

I came to use my Sony DCR-PC5E today to find that I too had the error message c:31:23. I read forum after forum and realised that I too was going to have to pay out sums of money as I have no idea how to fix one of these. Hit camcorder top bottom and sides with reasonable force? What a ridiculous idea? But what else did I have to lose? I tried it............and it sorted it immediately. No further problems. How fantastic that Sony can come up with a fault that just requires brute force. Thanks for this tip. Excellent.

  that nagging 31:23 code is flashing and driving me crazy and won't allow my camera to work...please help ASAP, we have a play tonight that needs recording!!
