HAHAHA! i didn't have to do that because i'm a kid and i have no clue what the crap that is. but i tried miving the "lense" or whatever and it worked. i was reading a book and i don't like quiet so i wanted to turn some music on but it wouldn't work. i'm SOO happy. i get some music finally. it's my only music player i have in my room since my ipod fell in the lake. =((

Two notes, one is... before you go opening the DVD player, try just putting a little gentle pressure on the laser mechanism (3/4" metal square) you see right where the disc goes, may be enough to correct it. Worked for me twice on H03. Also, I speculate that what causes this is the battery dying in the middle of a disc... PS. I have an LS-90

I have had my DVD player back a whole 7 weeks (June 2005) after getting the H03 code repaired when I got the H03 code again. I only turned the unit on 3 times (I'm afraid it would break again and I need it in times of emergencies). The repair center had replaced the Shaft Assembly, Interior Gears, Traverse Motor, and Optical Pick Up Assembly.

thankyou so much. our dvd player stuffed up today so i came straight to the internet to try and find a solution. although i was a bit skeptical about voiding the warranty, there were no problems what so ever. again, thanks a bundle!!!
