I have an LS80 model and had just about given up on it because of the H03 error when I came across your post. Your solution worked perfectly. Thank you for posting a solution, it seems enough of us have been burned by this Pansonic problem.

Same here except I was able to push the lens back in place - no screwdriver, just pushed really hard to unjam the mechanism and it start right back up. Thank you for posting the fact that it was that the lens got jammed!

Hi! I have a Panasonic LS90 Portable DVD Player. I have been getting this same error message forever! It wouldn't recognize or play anything. Crud, I was about to trash the thing and buy a new one. I found this help thread when I did a search for the error code. Thank God for that. I took off the back cover and looked inside. I have no idea what any of that stuff is in there; but, I noticed that this one thing that is probably the lens was wayyyy off to the left and not near the other part of it that fits like a puzzle next to it. So, while my partner used the little, itty bitty black dial on the right side to move the lens back to the center, I was using forceps to remove the hair that was tangled on the on thing that looks like a black screw on which the lens moves back and forth. After I got all of the hair off, we put it back together and it worked like magic!!!!!! It only took us about 10 minutes! Thank you soooooo much for posting this quick little fix-it! I really appreciate it and so does my bank account!

Hi!!!!! It is work........ ))) SPASIBO from Russia. You can make it easy..... NO, Open up the bottom cover by taking out the screws - 10 or so. Make that: Move (easy) the lens (don`t damage it) so that the lens move 1mm forward and 1mm backward Sorry, my eNglish is not good Andrei

Thank you so much for this fix. I had already gone out and bought a new one. I even called Panasonic and asked for help. They suggested I take it in for service, which would have been too expensive. This was great. Thank you so very much.
