I have a brand-new GR-DF450. There is no image in the LCD or viewfinder, as if the lens cap were on. Able to view menu pages, but no view through the lens. The unit records, but only audio. Please advise. Thank you.

    I have the same problem. $100 to check the camcorder unsure if I'm going to buy a new gr grd-350
