Re: JVC service or questions

Hi,

I have a 8 year old JVC 27 inch colour television, model # AV27750 (120V - 60Hz). The picture tube is fine, however I have been having trouble starting the tv, manually or by remote.

When I try to start it you can see the red led light on the tv going out and coming back, you can also hear it attempting to start.

Leading up this point it would do the same and then start with a blue screen which I just changed with the remote to the television.

What could be the cause? Could it be a fuse blown and needs replacing or can it be something more worst.

Cost is an issue as I may as well buy a new tv should it cost too much to repair.

If you can reply as soon as you can it would be appreciated as hockey season will be starting soon and I have missed a lot of NFL games already (I miss my tv)
