Home | Previous messageI purchased my LS50 over 16 months ago. I had a H03 error before and it went away after sitting on the shelf for three days. It worked ok for another couple of months and then stopped again. The screen says reading but the motor is not spinning. The machine is for my 5 year old daughter for her cartoons. Believe it or not, she pointed out that the laser lens is in the wrong place. When at resting location, the lens should be parked near to the spindle in the middle. The mechanism to move the lens backward and forward sometime get stuck at the end of its travel - furthest away from the spindle. If your player is out of warranty, then you maybe able to try this. Open up the bottom cover by taking out the screws - 10 or so. This will reveal the lens and motor module. Flip over the model and you should see the gear and shaft for the lens. Move the gear so that the lens move towards the centre. Click the covers back into place , reconnect the battery and try. If it works, put all the screws back. Mine was fixed this way but this is not a gaurantee that this will work on yours. Good luck.

Открыл заднюю крышку и покрутил червячный механизм туда-сюда. Собрал - запахало! Пасиба буржуям за подсказку! Thank you sooooo much for letting us know how to fix this error. You saved us a tonne of money. We were ready to go out and buy a new DVD player. My husband was surprised that I went on the internet and found a fix. Thanks very much Your solution continues to help those with the same issue years later. 10 minute fix. Thanks for the posting. Life saver - worked like a charm - Thanks a bunch. Similar problem with mine but was stuck at the end of its range by the spindle. Fiddled with the mechanism to loosen it up, then put it back together and it worked just fine. Thanks! Forgot to mention. You can also clean the gear shaft in case there are small particules stuck to the grease and affect the movement. After cleaning, apply a tiny bit of grease just to lubricate the moving shaft. Not too much. I am glad that the instructions help. YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!! I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP I WANT TO TELL EVERY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. I WAS SUPER BUMBED WHEN IT BROKE THEN I FOUND OUT EVERYONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO EASY TO FIX. THHHHHHHHAAAAAAANNNNNNNKKKKKKK YYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!! |
