Re: Error Codes Assistance

I keep getting a E20 error code on my CD player in my 97 Pontiac Trans AM. Does any one know what is going on? I'm suspious that it's a reading problem.

  I get the same error code on my '97 Firebird. It just stopped playing cd's one day and spits them out displaying E20. The manual has nothing and I can't seem to find this code online anywhere, please help!

  Did you ever get a fix for the e20 error message. I have a 96 Bonneville and get that message all the time.

  Hey all, E20 is a unable to focus error. Heres what I did to fix the problem. I used a Drive Clean CD-ROM Lens Cleaner. I bought it on sale at best buy. Its really neat as it has little brushes on the bottome side. What I bought was called "Drive Clean CD-ROM Lens Cleaner" made by allsop. i just popped it in waited about a min. for it to cycle and bam! I've havn't had a single problem with it since. Easy and cheap fix!

    how could you get a cleanwer is the cd gets spit out?
