Re: Error Codes Assistance

I have a Sony Digital 8 Camcorder DCR-TRV330. Most of the time ,when I try to record or play back a recording C:31:42 starts flashing and the camcorder will not do anything. I have taken the tape out and replaced it and then the camcorder will sometimes work for a second or so and then the C:31:42 starts flashing again. I did have one session when it would let me download the contents of two cassets onto my computer but it will not let me record or play back just using the camcorder. I hope you can help me.
