Re[2]: Error Codes Assistance

Hi, I seem to have a similar error as you, Cal. My Sony TRV340 will, when there is no tape in it, shut. When there is a tape in it, the unit will not accept the tape (ie, it will not shut). I get the eject icon, and code C31:40. In the event you figure out your error, please let me know what it was; Iwill do likewise. Any help would be appreciated. /Franklin
