HomeIs there a class action lawsuit? I had a two year old Sony instantly die from a bad transformer. The transformers are on back order. I also googled other messages about these failures on this discussion board. I am wondering if this is such a common failure if someone shouldn't start a class action lawsuit?

I worked in sony service. it was policy if a part was on BO for 20 days and the unit was in warranty it was to be replaced. if out of warranty they would offer a trade up to a newer model at reduced price. Which transformer failed? My kv-24fv12, chassis ba-5, is dead. Any suggestions on how to fix the 4 year old set? I have limited knowledge of tv repair. |
