I have bought and hooked up a JVC DR-MV5S dvd & video recorder. The dvd section works great but I can't get a picture out of the VHS. I have the Component video cable hooked between the out and the in on the back of the tv which is a jvc. The receiver I have is a Rx-884V,I have the sound and video running thru it. I have run it from the output (dvd/vcr)on the component to the in on the receiver. Tgis gives me all dvd functions but the vcr plays a tape, I hear sound but can see no picture. Please help!
