Set is five years old and Sony advises they are supposed to keep parts for seven years. Has anyone had any success with Sony in getting part or some financial relief toward a new set? HELP

Have same problem with the A board and can't find it.heard it is very expensive in the $500 but it is not available. Can someone lead the way to fix my dead TV? Can someone send me the training manual as well? Will be greatly appreciared. Sindu castillos@onelinkpr.net With the market conditions now I doubt Sony would give any help. I did get their help with an earlier 53" TV which got me this one but that was because the earlier one was a lemon and I had several problems within the warranty period. If Sony is obligated to carry spares for seven years (varies from state to state I believe), you may be able to go to the AG of your state. |
