Re: JVC service or questions

My JVC VCR HR S9500U shuts down after 3 seconds.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem or know what has happened?
My VCR shows play if pressed and will eject or start if a tape is inserted, and then shut off after 3 seconds. FF REW do not show up if pressed. I have found many references to a problem like this but no solutions. Does anyone know if this problem is worth getting fixed?
or how to fix it?
