Re: JVC service or questions

I have a jvc television av-20cm5. suddenly last night, a large black box appeared covering most of the screen. if i press any button on the remote, the box disappears and my picture is fine but only lasts about 5 seconds until i press a remote button again.
any idea what the problem could be and if its repairable?
