JVC KDS630 Clock Change

Jennifer Amerson Posted Apr 06, 2006

Can't find my manual and I need to change the clock time to reflect the daylight savings time.

I can't find my manual to my JVC KD-S630 and I need to change the clock time to reflect the daylight savings time. Can anyone help me to know how to change the time? I don't want to buy an entire new manual just for the clock option. Thanks Jenn

Eric7828@aol.com was nice enough to send me this regarding the clock time on my JVC KD-S630. I encountered another problem before Eric sent this to me regarding the Area/Area US displaying instead of the "clock" options. As a result in tyring to get rid of the area/area us screen I was able to get the clock thing working again. I'm not sure if these directions will work since I was able to get it going without them but I will post them in case someone else has the same problem. Thanks Eric. Step 1. Press and hold SEL (Select) for more than 2 seconds. (Clock H, Clock M, SCM Link or Level appears on the display). Step 2. Set the hour (select clock H if not shown on the display and adjust the hour). Step 3. Set the minute (select clock m and adjust the minute) Step 4. Press SEL (select) to finish the setting. To check the current clock time (changing the display mode) Press DISP repeatedly. Each time you press teh button the display mode changes as follows: During tuner operation Frequency Clock During CD Operation Elapsed playing time Clock *If the unit is not in use when you press DISP the power turns on, the clock time is shown for 5 seconds then the power turns off.
