Hello Leon, My suggestion is to NOT spend any money on repair. Minimum will run you about $100 just for 1 hour labor/tax/shipping. New camcorders are very inexpensive at Walmart and other discount stores. I highly suggest going shopping and not spending money on repair. If parts are needed or more labor...you will exceed the cost of a new camcorder very quickly. Hope this helps
