Re: JVC service or questions

I have a 4-yr old GR-DVL720U that has worked great up until a week ago when I inadvertently put in a mini-DV tape that had 1080i HDV footage shot on my other Sondy FX1 (not sure if this is relevant to my problem but worth mentioning). The viewfinder said, "EO3 Unit in Safeguard Mode... Eject tape."

I ejected, and put in a tape with DV footage shot on this camera and the same message appeared. I put camera away for about a week, tried loading in a mini-dv tape and the same thing.

I misplaced the manual so I don't know what EO3 means. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
