Re: JVC service or questions

i have a JVC GR-D270U video camera , i was in florida and i had just charged my battery to full , and when i go to turn my camera on it didnt work , as if my battery was dead , so i thought it was my battery , so i bought a brand new one and tryed it and that didnt work either , when i put the battery on the camera the red power light comes on even when the swith is in the off position , and the camera gets really hot , if i turn it on and open the screen it is a black picture with white lines , i carry my camera in my pocket could sometihng happened to it from it being in my pocket? or i also read enternal fuses could be bad , is this fixable? or do i need a new camera? , i really like this camera and cant afford a new one so i sure hope you can help me solve this problem thanks.
